Home Renovation Details

Once we enter into a partnership together, the
project scope, final cost and time required will be discussed and agreed upon. This ensures that you are only
inconvenienced for the agreed upon amount of time and that the project doesn’t become more of a burden than a positive experience.

We will walk you through our past work and discuss your inspiration. Consider the sky the limit; anything you would like to have in your home, you can. Our team will help you decide if it fits within the budget and, if not, what modifications we can make to still deliver on your vision. This general discussion will include all exterior and interior renovations you would like to make, as well as any additions or structural changes. Following an initial meeting, we will create two options for you to choose from, along with our recommendations. If your project is especially difficult or requires a lot of permitting, an additional meeting may be required.

Once you approve the plan and the permitting process is complete, we will begin construction and renovation. Depending upon on how extensive the renovation is, you may have to relocate for the duration of the renovating process. Once we have dealt with any structural issues and changes, we will bring you in to decide on the details. This includes all finishes, colours, and themes. You will work with our team of talented interior and/or exterior designers, who will provide advice and ultimately give you the space you dreamed of.

Limestone Construction Ltd. at times teams up with engineers, architects, and quantity surveyors and acts in an oversight role for the client from initial conceptual and design stage through to occupancy certificate handover. This oversight of budget and schedule includes cost control and risk management.

Given the breadth and capacity of our business oversight and responsibilities, a wide range and scope of skill sets are required. To that aim, it is necessary to assemble a team to meet the demanding requirements of our business environment.

It is Limestone Construction Ltd.'s responsibility to ensure that a building project is completed safely, within an agreed timeframe and budget.

Managing the practical side of every stage of the build, we work closely with architects, surveyors and other building professionals in planning and delivery. We also supervise and direct a range of operations on construction sites and ensure that all tradespeople and contractors are working together to an agreed plan and that progress is being made. We can oversee a whole site or part of a large-scale, complex project.

As a construction manager, we are expected to:

Plan the work and oversee the buying of necessary materials and equipment.

Hire and manage staff for the project.

Manage the construction site on a day-to-day basis, including supervising the labour force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work and overseeing quality control.

Ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget by setting benchmarks, agreeing to budgets, monitoring progress and checking design documents with architects, surveyors and engineers.

Promote and maintain health and safety, including site inspections to ensure that safety rules are being followed, maintain regular communication and attend meetings with clients and their representatives to inform them of progress on the project, i.e. stakeholder management.

Write reports.

Communicate with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and others involved in the project.

Deal with any unexpected problems that may occur during the project.
